What if the warmest baby mittens in the world came from the marriage of two natural wonders? That's the bold gamble of Lasclay and Timininous , two committed Quebec companies that are joining forces to create a unique product that is as high-performing as it is eco-responsible.
♻️ A unique insulator in the world: the union of milkweed and merino wool
From the very beginning of Timininous, every scrap of merino wool has been carefully preserved . Throwing away such a noble fiber, which the sheep grows naturally for a year on its back, was simply unthinkable.
These scraps were defibrated by Lasclay and transformed into an insulating foam , which we then combined with milkweed , an extraordinary perennial plant that grows freely in our territory.
🌱 Why are milkweed and merino wool magical?
The hollow fibers of milkweed, similar to plant silk, trap air , repel water , and create a natural thermal barrier . It's one of the best organic insulators in the world, which we combine with our merino wool!
Merino wool is thermoregulating (it keeps you warm when it's cold, and cool when it's hot), ultra-soft (even for sensitive skin), antibacterial , naturally odor-resistant , and biodegradable .
And here, it has a unique story: this merino wool comes from our own production at Timininous. Every fiber used in these mittens comes from our carefully preserved scraps , which we defibrated and then transformed into insulation .
A second life for an exceptional fiber in a high-performance product, designed to last. ♻️

Maintenance
Machine wash in warm water
All Timininous merino wool clothing and accessories are machine washable in lukewarm water without any problems. (NEVER HOT WATER!)
It is recommended to turn clothes and accessories inside out before washing them and not to wash them with clothes that have zippers, Velcro or other elements that could damage the delicate fabric.
It is best to wash merino wool garments in a delicate laundry bag .
Use a mild detergent
Never use bleach or fabric softener. We simply recommend using a mild detergent, such as our natural Eucalan detergent , which revitalizes wool and other natural fibers.
Dry flat
Ideally, do not put your merino wool garments in the dryer. It is recommended to dry them flat in the open air. You should also avoid hanging them, as this could cause them to lose their shape.
