Its smart compartments and durable, high-quality materials have also been carefully chosen to last, so that the bag can be worn for a long time from daycare to school. 🏫

Composition

• The flap of the bag is made of felt made in Quebec and made from 100% recycled materials, 80% of which come from Montreal designer scraps. The felt is dye-free and helps divert these residual materials from landfills.
• The bag is made of polyester canvas that is water, mildew and wind resistant. This is a premium quality product that dries quickly. Thick and robust, it has high resistance to UV rays and tears.
• Our backpack is also made from vegetable tanned leather. Vegetable tanning is an ancestral and natural technique in which plants such as wood, bark or even leaves are used to tan hides, because they naturally contain tannins. The sludge obtained by this type of tanning is entirely biodegradable unlike that produced by mineral tanning carried out with chromium and aluminum salts, heavy metals harmful to the environment and workers. This type of leather has a natural finish and will develop a patina over time. Additionally, the exceptional durability of leather is in no way comparable to that of “faux leather” or “vegan leather” products offered on the market. These faux leather are plastic products from petrochemicals and will have a shorter lifespan.
